Tesla Unveils Electric Truck

In late November, the U.S. company Tesla introduced a new electric vehicle (EV).

Named the Cyber-truck, the state-of-the-art automobile may prove to be a game-changer.

The Cyber-truck was unveiled at a big media event on November 21 in California.

Before its unveiling, the company and its famous CEO Elon Musk didn't reveal much information about their new vehicle.

So when reporters and people at the media event laid their eyes on the electric truck, they were very surprised.

The Cyber-truck doesn't look like any truck or car currently sold on the market.

Its shiny surface is made of stainless steel, and its box-like shape makes it look like a futuristic armored car.

Many people said the pickup truck belonged in a science-fiction movie.

On top of being eye-catching, there were reasons for the way the truck looked.

For one thing, the truck's stainless steel alloy is the same one Musk uses for his SpaceX spacecraft.

So, it's durable enough to withstand a bullet from a small gun.

Also, the unique design allows the Cyber-truck to be roomy and lightweight.

There is enough room for a large ion battery that gives the electric vehicle the power to carry heavy loads.

Since its release, the Cyber-truck has received mixed reviews from the public.

Some were impressed by Tesla's bold move, but others called the new EV too radical for the average customer.

Fortunately, Musk and his company have a bit more time to fine-tune their latest vision.

The Cyber-truck will not start production until 2021.
