Do you think you cold set a Guinness World Record?
Well, meet the man who has made it his mission to set world records.
His name is David Rush, and he has set over 100 records in less than five years.
Rush, who is from northwestern United States, works full-time in the tech industry.
He is also an avid juggler, and in 2013, he decided to try for a Guinness World Record related to his hobby.
He saw it as a good motivation to improve his skills.
The first record Rush attempted was for the fastest 800-meter run while juggling.
Unfortunately, he severely injured a knee while practicing.
But instead of giving up, he looked for a world record that would not strain his knees.
In 2015, Rush juggled while blindfolded for 6 minutes and 34 seconds.
This ended up being the first of his many Guinness World Records.
Buoyed by his success, Rush continued to set and break world records.
Some of them were connected to juggling, such as running and juggling while blindfolded.
Amazingly, he kept this up for over 13 kilometers.
However, Rush has set plenty of non-juggling records, as well.
For instance, he holds records for blowing a pea across the floor, tossing a dumbbell from hand to hand, and popping balloons with a nail.
"If you set your mind to a goal and believe in yourself, you can accomplish anything." Rush said in an interview.
Currently, Rush is training for 50 more world records.
He plans to keep aiming for new world records as long as he is having fun.
