티스토리 뷰
People have built many amazing things with Lego toy blocks.
There are Lego sculptures, cars, and even houses.
Now, there are Lego prosthetic arms.
The arms were built by David Aguilar in Andorra, a small country between Spain and France.
Aguilar is a bio engineering student in university.
He is also disabled, as he was born without a right forearm.
In 2017, Aguilar began a special project.
He is a big fan of Lego.
So, he started making robotic arms with Lego pieces.
These arms are not expensive to build.
Also, anyone can build them anywhere with the toy blocks.
Aguilar shows off his latest arms regularly on his YouTube channel.
The robotic limbs are powered by an electric motor.
They can bend and grab things easily.
Normally, prosthetic arms are very costly.
So, Aguilar's goal is to make them more affordable.
That way, every disabled person in the world will be able to have them.
In addition, Aguilar wants to inspire other people with disabilities.
"I want to show that nothing is impossible," he says.
