Barbie is a famous toy doll.

She lives in a special doll house.

Now, Barbies's doll house is real.

The Barbie Company built the pink house in Los Angeles.

The giant house has three floors.

It has two bedrooms, a dressing room, and a swimming pool.

In October, the Barbie Company held a contest.

The winners stayed in the house for two nights.

"It was a dream come true," said the winner.

### Self-cleaning Door Handle

 

A door handle has a lot of germs because many people touch it.

The germs can quickly spread through our hands.

This can cause disease.

Recently, two Hong Kong students had a creative idea.

They call it a self-cleaning door handle.

It's a long glass handle with a UV light bulb.

When people use the handle, the light bulb turns on.

Also, the handle contains chemical power.

The UV light from the light bulb mixes with this chemical.

Then, the chemical kills the germs.

"This will keep our hands clean," the student inventors said.

Do you like both soccer and golf?

Then, you should play foot golf?

People play this sport on a golf course.

Also, the rule is similar to the rule of golf.

But the players use a soccer ball.

So, the holes are much bigger.

The Players kick the ball on the golf course.

They kick it into the hole.

They should do this with the fewest kicks.

Then, they win the game.

"Foot golf is a lot of fun," said one player.

### Wild Boars in the City

 

In October, many people were surprised.

There were wild boars in the city streets.

Usually, the boars live in the mountains.

But they didn't have enough food.

So, they came down for food.

Rescuers tried to catch the wild boars.

But they were very quick.

"We are trying to catch them," one official said.

"When you see the wild boars, do not yell at them."

### Solar Car Race

 

In October, there was an interesting race in Australia.

It was a solar car race.

The cars can only use solar energy.

The race took place for 24 hours.

The solar cars traveled across Australia.

"Solar cars can go fast," one driver said.

"Also, it is good for the environment."
