"어제 커피숍에 가서 커피나 마시면서 내 할 일 하고 있는데 다른 테이블에서 벌어지는 대화 때문에 집중이 안되는거야. 젊은 남자 무리가 있었어 - 한, 대여섯명이었어.  내 추측으로는 10대였던 것 같아. 아무튼, 새로 나온 어벤저스 영화를 가지고 열띈 토론을 하고 있는거야!  그런 공공장소에서 그 영화의 내용에 대해서는 말을 조심해야 되잖아?! 근데 걔네들은 그런거 신경쓰기에는 너무 흥분한 상태인 것 같더라고. 나는 이미 영화를 봤으니까 다행이었지(운이 좋았지), 안그랬으면 완전히 망쳤을거야. 그러니까, (너도) 영화를 볼 계획이 있는데 아직 안봤다면 공공장소에 나가 있을 때 조심하고 혹시라도 새로 나온 어벤저스 영화랑 조금이라도 관련된 얘기가 들린다 싶으면 귀막고 그 자리를 떠야 돼."

 

"Yesterday, I was at a coffee shop.  I was just having a cup of coffee and minding my own business when I started to get distracted by a conversation that was going on at another table. There was a group of young men. There must've been 5 or 6 of them and if I were to guess, they were teenagers.

Anyway, they were having a very heated discussion about the new Avengers movie. You would think they would be careful about describing the details from the movie at a public place like that but they seemed way too excited to care.  I mean, I was lucky I'd already seen the movie, otherwise, it would've completely ruined the movie for me.  So, if you haven't seen the movie yet and are planning to (see it), please, just be careful when you're out in public and if you happen to hear anything that sounds remotely related to the Avengers movie, just shut your ears and get out of there!"

• Whoa ~ you must've been really hungry !

• if I were to guess, ... - "내 추측으로는"

• I was lucky (that) I'd already ..." : 나는 이미 ~했어서 다행이지,

• otherwise, it would've... : 안그랬으면 ... 했을거야.

• If you happen to hear/see/find/come across... : 혹시라도 ~~~ 하게 되면 / 한다 싶으면

• remotely related : 아주 조금이라도 관련이 있는
