지난 일기영상에 없어서 아쉬었던 한가지가 많은 분들이 지적했듯이 브로디가 새코트를 실제로 입은 모습이었어요.

One thing that was missing from my last video diary, as many of you pointed out, was Brodi actually wearing his new coat.

 

그 영상을 포스팅했을 당시에는 아직 도착하지 않은 상태였다는것을 제가 언급을 할 걸 그랬나봐요.

I guess I should’ve mentioned that it hadn’t yet arrived at the time I posted that video. 

 

하지만 오늘 좋은소식이 있어요.어제 드디어 도착했는데 와우 ~~ 얼마나 기분이 좋던지!

But today I’m happy to tell you that it came in yesterday and MAN! was it a satisfying experience!

 

아니 물론 상품 자체보다 중요한것은 없지만, 포장이 너무 멋지다는 생각에서 헤어나오질 못하겠더라고요.

I mean, of course, nothing is more important than the product itself but I just couldn’t get over how awesome the packaging was.

 

짠하게 들릴 수는 있어도, 잠시동안은, 누구의 선물을 개봉하고 있던건지 완전 잊고 있었어요.

As sad as it may sound, for a moment, I had totally forgotten whose gift we were opening, 

 

그리고 앰버는 아직도 자기꺼라고 생각하는거 같아요

and I think Amber might still think it’s hers.

 

걱정마 앰버, 너도 크리스마스 때 하나 줄게. 게다가 넌 이미 세상에서가장 아름다운 코트가 있잖아.

Don’t worry Amber, you’ll get one for Christmas.  Besides, you already have the most beautiful coat in the world.

 

이번이 브로디한테는 성견으로서 맞이하는 첫 겨울이에요. 그래서 이런 코트는 입어본 적이 한번도 없었죠.

This is actually Brodi’s first Winter as an adult.  So he’d never worn a coat like this before 

 

그리고 애가 얼마나잘 겁먹는지를 알아서, 천천히 적응하면서 입을 수 있도록 최선을 다했어요.

- and knowing how easily he scares, we did our best to ease him into it.

얘가 코트에 적응하려면 시간이 좀 걸릴까봐 사실 좀 걱정이었는데  입은 채로 금방 졸더라고요. 그래서 좋은 징조로 받아들였죠

I was a little worried that it might take some time for him to get used to the coat, but he soon started dozing off in it and we took that as a good sign.

어쨋든, 그래서 브로디 새코트가 마음에 들었으면 좋겠고 이제는 너네 누나 크리스마스 선물로 뭘 줄지 생각해 보자.

Anyway, so, Brodi, I really hope you like your coat and now let’s start thinking about what to get your sister for Christmas.
