Disney Movie Remakes

In July, many people went to see the film, "Aladdin."

The movie was based on the hit Disney animation from 1992.

In the live-action remake, Will Smith played the famous blue Genie.

"Aladdin" was a big hit around the world.

In Korea, over 10 million people went to see the film.

It was the seventh foreign film to reach the 10-million-viewer mark in Korea.

For over 80 years, Disney has made numerous classic animation films.

It began in 1937 with "Snow white and the Seven Dwarfs."

Most of these old animation films were carefully drawn by hand.

Then in recently years, Disney began bringing back some of its classic animation films.

Some of the movies are being remade with live actors and actresses.

They include "Aladdin" and "Beauty and the Beast."

Others, like "The Lion King," use computer graphics.

But the CGI scenes are very realistic.

In the future, more remakes of classic Disney stories will come to the big screen.

They include "Mulan" and "The Little Mermaid."
