Train Street is a famous road in Hanoi, Vietnam.

For 117 years, a train passed through the famous street twice a day.

It traveled closely by the cafes, homes, and shops that line the narrow street.

The unusual street was a popular tourist destination.

Visitors enjoyed photographing themselves as the train rumbled by.

Recently, however, the Vietnamese government said it would close Train Street.

It said the increasing number of tourists made the area too dangerous.

Some of them even jumped out in front of the moving train to take a selfie.

Also, the train sometimes could not pass through the street because of too many tourists.

One train even had to change its route to avoid the area.

For these reasons, government officials called Train Street a safety hazard.

In October, they told businesses on the street to shut down.
