Emergency Workers Take Tetris Challenge

An internet challenge based on the video game Tetris is taking place around the world.

It is being played by emergency workers at police stations, fire departments, and hospitals in different countries.

The object of Tetris is to arrange geometric shapes into lines.

So, the Tetris Challenge asks emergency workers to take items in their vehicles and arrange them on the ground.

In Switzerland, for example, Zurich police officers laid police vests, traffic cones, and other supplies next to a police car.

Then they themselves got down on the ground, too.

Similarly, Dutch police officers laid gear beside police cars, while Dutch Armed Forces members put gear beside army tanks.

Even the Red Cross got involved, arranging first-aid kits and other supplier between a Red Cross tent and an ambulance.

The first responders had a lot of fun with the challenge.

Also, some used their pictures to raise awareness about important issues.
