#. Company Boasts Moldy Hamburger

 

Ordinarily, advertisements try to make their products attractive.

However, one company recently tried a very different approach.

Burger King is a global fast-food restaurant chain.

Its new ad shows a disgusting version of the company's signature hamburger, the Whopper.

In it, the burger is seen decomposing for 30 days.

By the end, the product is covered in mold.

Burger King said it wanted to prove that its hamburgers were made with natural ingredients.

If the burgers had contained many unnatural preservatives, they would not have become so moldy, the company argued.

The advertisement gained a great amount of attention on social media in the United States.

Some people complimented the marketing campaign for its "refreshing" approach to the topic.

Others, however, said the unappetizing burger simply turned them off.
