One evening in August, the musical "Billy Elliot" was performed at a theater in Ontario, Canada.

Interestingly, the audience for the performance included a group of very attentive dogs.

These animals are training to be service dogs, which provide guidance and support for people with disabilities.

Service dogs must go everywhere with their ovners.

So, the dogs attended the show to prepare for similar situations they might encounter.

The musical was perfect for practices.

The dogs had to remain calm despite distractions from people, lights, and sounds.

Amazingly, all of the animals were on their best behavior throughout the 162-minutes performance.

"The dogs loved the show almost as much as their handlers," one trainer said.

The service dogs will continue to receive training in various situations.

Afterwards, they will be given new homes with people with special needs.
