Korean Cars Top Russian Market

Korean-made cars are very popular in Russia.

In fact, vehicles manufactured by Korean companies topped the sales ranking in Russia last year.

A Russian consulting group looked into the number of cars sold in Russia from January to October 2019.

In total, over 314,000 Korean cars were sold during the period.

This was good for 25 percent of the total car sales in Russia.

It is about two percent higher country's domestically made cars.

Korean cars were followed by Japanese, German, and French automobiles.

Hyundai and Kia motors are well-known for their compact cars in Russia.

Consumers have praised them for their high quality and affordable prices.
