Life After WannaOne

Early August, K-pop group WannaOne returned to the headlines.

Members of the disbanded boy band celebrated the second anniversary of their debut.

They had promised to meet up every August 7 for the anniversary and maintain their friendship.

After WnanaOne broke up last year, the 11 members went their separate ways.

So, what have they been up to?

About half of the members chose to pursue solo careers.

In July, Kang Daniel released his first solo album, titled "Color on Me."

The album was a huge success, with over 430,000 copies being sold within a week.

Park Ji-hun, Kim jae-hwan, and Ha Sung-woon have each held fan meetings in and out of Korea and released several singles of their own.

Yun Ji-sung also performed as a solo artist and musical actor before beginning his military service in May.

Other former WannaOne members have joined different groups.

Lee Dae-hwi and Park Woo-jin formed a group called AB61X with three other members of their agency.

Bae Jin-young recently joined a new five-member boy band, CIX.

Both groups were ranked number 1 at music shows soon after their debut.

Meanwhile, Hwang Min-hyun decided to return to his old group Nuest.

He reunited with his old members and released new songs.

One the other hand, Ong Sung-woo chose a different career path.

He recently appeared in the lead role of the hit drama "At Eighteen," and received praise for his acting.

Finally, Lai Kuanlin, the group's Chinese member, has been involved in a legal battle with his agency.

Still, he is working on photo-shoots and remaining active in China.
