Eyeglasses Donated to Cambodia

Do you wear eyeglasses?

If so, you probably have an old pair of glasses lying around at home.

But instead of throwing it away, you should think about donation it.

A charity group in Seoul is asking for Koreans to give their old eyeglasses and sunglasses.

These glasses are then sent to Cambodia, where they will be handed out for free.

According to the charity group, many Cambodian adults and children suffer from poor eyesight.

This is due to poor diet as well as environmental causes, such as strong ultraviolet rays.

Unfortunately, some Cambodians cannot afford new eyeglasses, which are relatively expensive there.

So, the used glasses sent by the Korean charity group are expected to help many Cambodians.
