@ Self-driving Bicycle

Google loves to trick people on April Fool's Day.

In 2016, the company announced that it made a self-driving bicycle.

It even released a video that showed a bicycle driving around Amsterdam.

It was moving on its own without a rider.

 

@ Iceberg in Australia

On April 1, 1978, an Australian man made an unbelievable announcement.

He claimed he brought an iceberg all the way from Antarctica.

He placed it in the harbor of Sydney on a sunny day.

Many people went to the harbor to see the iceberg.

As they found out later, it turned out to be just a barge covered in foam and plastic.

 

@ Digital Big Ben

The British Broadcasting Company (BBC) also loves fooling its viewers on April 1.

In 1980, it said Big Ben clock in London would undergo a change.

The company reported that the famous analog clock would get a digital face.

Many outraged people called the BBC to protest the change.
