Universities will become a little more affordable in the future.

The government recently announced that it would get rid of university admission fees.

According to the government's plan, universities will gradually stop requiring admission fees from 2022.

By 2023, all admission fees will be lifted in Korea.

The government said it made this decision because university admission fees have become too expensive.

Also, the reasons for having the fees were unclear.

In addition, the government said it would create a new law regarding university tuition.

If passed, students will be allowed to pay their tuition in two or more installments, instead of all at once.
