Usually, the baseball season begins in March.

But this year, it was postponed because of the corona-virus.

Now, baseball is back.

On May 5, the Korean Baseball Organization (KBO) finally began the new season.

However, everyone still has to be careful.

So, the games do not have a live audience.

The teams are playing in empty stadiums.

Umpires, cheerleaders, and broadcasters are also allowed inside.

Meanwhile, people view the games from home.

They watch on their TV or smart devices.

Still, everyone is glad that KBO baseball is back.

Soon, Koreans hope to go to live games, too.

In the United states, baseball did not begin yet.

So, fans in the U.S. are also watching Korean baseball games.

They say the games are interesting.

 

@ Soccer Is Back, Too

Along with baseball, the K-League began its season in early May.

Soccer games are also taking place without an audience.
