When people apply for a job at a company, they usually take part in at interview.

But these days, some companies use artificial intelligence (A.I) in this process.

The job candidates have to first pass an A.I. interview.

If they succeed, then they are asked to come back and answer questions from human interviews.

These companies think it is convenient to use A.I. interviews.

They say the A.I. program can learn many things about the candidates easily.

It can also interview a huge number of candidates right away.

This can save the companies much time and energy.

Many job applicants also feel positive about A.I. interviews.

They say the S.I. asks the same questions to each candidate and judges these answers in the same way.

So, they feel that the interviews can be fair and objective.

On the other hand, some people criticize A.I. interviews.

They say job interviews should allow candidates to also ask questions and get to know the company.

But with A.I. interviews, the process will feel too impersonal.

Furthermore, these critics argue that no computer program is perfect.

The A.I. program will ask the same questions and expect the same responses.

Then, they argue, the interviewees may be able to practice the "right" answers and fool the A.I. interviewer.
