But Italians still showed great hope.

For example, they had to stay home for a long time.

So, they sang from their balconies.

They shared their music.

One couple made baskets of food.

Then, they lowered the baskets from their balcony.

On the street, homeless and hungry people took the food.

This way, they shared their meals with people in need.
