Do you ever cry?
Often, it is because we feel an emotion.
However, there are other reasons for our tears, too.
First, tears can flow because of dust.

Then, our tears wash out the dust.
Also, smoke our fume can cause tears.
For example, our eyes may get watery when we chop onions.
Lastly, we cry when we feel sad or angry.
But some scientists say that our tears have a special ingredient.
It can help us to control our emotions.
