In recent years, many Korean TV programs have become very successful overseas.

Among them, two TV shows have even gained popularity as local remakes.

@ Running Man

The hit variety show debuted on SBS in 2010.

It stars popular MC Yoo Jae-seok and many other celebrities.

They travel to different places and compete in a series of fun missions.

In February, SBS announced that a Philippine version of the show would debut in 2021.

The remake will star local celebrities competing in different challenges.

It will be the fourth time for "Running Man" to be remade abroad.

Vietnam, China, and Indonesia already have their own versions.

In Korea, the program premiered as "King of Mask Singer" in 2015.

In the show, celebrities sing while wearing masks and costumes.

They don't take off their masks and reveal their identity until they lose in the competition.

Now, the show is an international hit.

A total 21 countries are airing their own versions of the program.

The U.S. remake is already enjoying its third season.
