The government first made this day in January 2014.

It wanted people to have more cultural experiences.

On Culture Day, Koreans can enjoy many cultural benefits.

For example, they can get a discount on movie tickets.

Also, many museums and cultural sites offer free admission.

Some workers are busy.

They cannot take part in Culture Day.

So, the government holds special events at their workplace.
