영어를 배우는 입장에서 가장 어려운 것 중 하나가 우리말과 표현하는 방식이 완전히 다른 영어 표현들이다.  그 많은 것 중 하나인 "오랜만에".  이번 영상에서는 우리가 거의 매일 사용하는 "오랜만에"라는 표현을 영어로 자연스럽게 표현하는 방식을 (다시) 배워봅니다.

 

오랜만에

for the first time in a long time - 숙어: 빈도가 낮음 : 한참만에 

 

for the first time in days  몇일만에

for the first time in weeks  몇주만에

for the first time in months  몇달만에

for the first time in years   몇년만에

for the first time several weeks

for the first time many years

오랜만에 친구들을 만났어요.

오랜만에 했다 안했다 는 두문장으로 나누기

• in such a long time. 오랬동안   한참 오랜시간동안

• in a while  빈도 높음

 

• ~한지 오래됐다 와 완전히 다른이야기 

• It has been such a long time since ~

 

 

영화보러간지 너무 오래됐다.

It has been such a long time since I saw with my friends.
