have to 와 must 외에도 무엇을 반드시/꼭 해내야 한다는 표현들이 많다. 우리말에서도 "무조건",  "어떻게든", "어떤 식으로든", "무슨 수를 써서라도"  이번 영상에서는 이런 표현들 중에 가장 흔히 사용되는 기본적인 형태 몇 가지를 배워봅니다.

 

• 무조건

 

    1. have to 를 강조해서 표현

I have to pass the exam this time.

 

    2. Seriously  ˈsɪəriəsli   심(각)하게; 진지하게, 진심으로  추가

I seriously have to pass the exam this time.

 

    3. No matter what 무엇이 ~일지라도, 어쨌든 추가

I have to pass the exam this time no matter what.

 

    4. Afford 를 써서 부정형으로 표현  : can't afford to ~ 할 여건 / 형편 / 여력  이 안된다  / 여유가 없다..

I can't afford to fail the test this time.

 

    5. No exceptions    빠짐없이 , 예외없이

이번에는 무조건 다 가야돼. 

Everyone has to go this time. No exceptions.

 

• 어떻게든, 어떤식으로든

• One way or another. 

We have to finish this one way or another.

One way or another, we have to finish this by the end of this month.
