Swiss Tourists Eat like Homer Simpson

Homer Simpon is a character on the U.S. cartoon series, "The Simpsons."

He is known for his incredible appetite.

In one classic episode, Homer visits the American city of New Orleans.

A montage shows him gulping down many meals at actual restaurants there.

Now, a pair of "Simpons" fans recreated this montage in real life.

Janine and Katrine from Switzerland recently visited New Orleans.

They researched the restaurants shown in the cartoon.

Then, the two Swiss tourists went to those places and ordered what Homer ate.

They had sandwiches, shrimp platters, soups, and different desserts.

Then, they filmed themselves eating the foods just like Homer did in the cartoon.

When their scenes were edited next to the original cartoon montage, the results were hilarious.

The two women said they had fun filling their bellies, while honoring their favorite television show.
