Dream Jobs of Students

The Ministry of Education recently conducted its annual survey of students.

It asked them about the jobs that they want to have in the future.

Over 24,000 students in 1,200 schools took part in the survey.

These students were in elementary, middle, and high school.

For elementary school students, the top two dream jobs were athlete and teacher.

In fact, these two jobs are popular choices every year.

The third most popular job was content creator, such as YouTuber and broadcast jockey (BJ).

It was the first time for this job to be ranked so high by elementary school students.

Meanwhile, middle and high school students didn't choose content creator as their dream job.

Instead, both groups elected teacher and police officer among their top three jobs.

According to educational experts, the survey shows that younger and older students look at jobs differently.

Elementary school students usually go for jobs that they could enjoy.

Meanwhile, middle and high school students begin thinking more practically about jobs.
