#. Back to the drawing board : (이전의 계획 등이 실패한 후) 계획을 다시 잡다, 처음부터 다시 시작하다

Hey guys! Today's English expression is "back to the drawing board."

"Back to the drawing board" means to start doing something again because it failed the first time.

It's used when a project or a plan you had failed so you have to totally start the planning process again.

Now listen to a dialogue between two friends talking about a presentation.

Listen closely for the expression back to the drawing board.

I'm almost done with this PowerPoint. Finally!

> Oh no... Luke, I have some bad news.

What is it?

> I forgot to tell you that we're not allowed to use PowerPoint for this presentation.

Are you serious? If we're not allowed to use PowerPoint, everything I've worked on is useless!

I have to start again.

> I know. Sorry, but you have to go back to the drawing board.

OK everyone.

Remember we use "back to the drawing board" when we need to start something again because it failed.

Try to use this expression the next time you're talking about a project or plan that needs to start again.

That's it from me today. Have a good day and see you next time.

That's it from me today. 오늘은 여기까지입니다.
