Sometimes people might underestimate your maturity, or think that they can trick you.

In the following dialogue you will learn an expression you can use when people think you don't understand what's really going on. 

Listen carefully!

 

A: Why are you whispering to each other?

B: You don't want to know. No kids allowed.

A: I wasn't born yesterday.

1. to underestimate the cost of the project   We underestimated the time it would take to get there. 

동사 (비용 규모 등을) 너무 적게 잡다 [추산하다]

1. Never underestimate your opponent.  We often underestimate our potentialities.

동사 (사람을) 과소평가하다

1. My guess of 400 proved to be a serious underestimate. 

명사 (비용 규모 등을) 너무 적게 잡음, 과소평가 (↔overestimate)
